TOUR DESCRIPTION
Amalfi & Positano is a very special tour that has been designed as an extension to one of our food & wine tours (The Best of Florence & Chianti and Cooking in Chianti). Plan this trip so as to link it to the spring food & wine "The Best of Florence & Chianti" or the fall "Cooking in Chianti" tour! This four night, five-day tour begins at our hospitality partner hotel in Ravello, a charming sea-town village situated above the magnificent coast line of Amalfi. We will transport you with the group from the train station in Naples to Ravello. You will visit naturally bot Positano, in addition there is an amazing excursions to the Emerald Caves in Amalfi. You'll visit a lemon farm, take part in a mozzarella making class in addition to a very special moon lit dinner over looking Ravello at our wonderful friends home. Note that moderate walking is involved on this tour (up to 2 hours possible walking on cobble stone streets, uneven road surfaces, slight inclines). All breakfasts and either lunch or dinner is included daily. You'll have time to relax by the pool and of course shop.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Four nights lodging at our wonderful 4 star category hotel located in Ravello in double accommodations in superior rooms. Single (solo) travelers will incur a surcharge of US$550.for 2023/4 and US$650 for 2025 tours.
MEALS
Breakfasts are included daily as is either lunch or dinner.
PRIVATE DINNER
You will participate in a very special private dinner in the home of our friends Fabio & Mara in a location with the best views in the area.
EXCURSIONS
You will be accompanied to the Emerald Caves, Positano and the amazing ancient city Pompeii.
TRANSFERS
The tour begins at the hotel in Ravello on day 1 as per the itinerary. Transfer from the train station either from Naples or Salerno is included, as well as group transfer back to Naples. You are advised to begin or end your journey in Florence (as your host will be travelling with you on the train). Contact us for hotel reservations in Florence. You will be advised which train to reserve in advance. Transport to Naples train station is not included. All land transport included as indicated on itinerary.
GUIDED TOURS
Your host and licensed guide will show you the towns of Ravello, Positano, The Emerald Caves and Pompeii.

Please inform us of your intentions when booking your tour to ensure your reservations. We do advise guests to arrive 1 or 2 days early so as to acclimate to the new time zone and overcome jetlag.
