This magnificent tour begins on the islands of Venice where you will spend three nights visiting the iconic sites such as the Basilica of St. Mark, the Guggenheim museum to name only a couple.  

 

Your city guide will walk you over the bridges as you meander alongside the countless canals.  You will pay a visit to some of the surrounding islands such as Burano and Murano where centuries of tradition are awaiting for you to experience.

 

The tour will leave Venice and proceed through the Soave Wine Route that links Venice and Verona where you will spend two nights.  Verona is considered to be one of the countries most beautiful cities.

 

Verona is known for a lot but in particular its Roman amphitheater and naturally the Shakespearean plays of The Taming of the Shrew and Romeo and Juliet.  
The tour will continue to the foot of the Italian and Swiss Alps as we spend 3 nights discovering the beauty of the “Lake District”.  

 

We will be based on Lake Como in the town of Bellagio where you will have a spectacular view of the area.  We will tour some of the magnificent villas surrounds the lakes while touring by boat with stops for shopping and to explore.  
As with all our tours, food and wine play a very important role and we will visit 2 wineries along the way from Venice and naturally you will be dining at several fabulous restaurants. 

Accommodations: 8 nights lodging in historic hotels that include 3 nights in Venice, 2 nights in Verona and 3 nights on Lake Como.

Meals: Breakfasts are included daily as is either lunch or dinner.   There will be additional meals as indicated on the detailed tour itinerary.

Transportation: All land transport is included in addition to Lake Como boat tour. This tour ends in Bellagio, we can assist you for transfers to your next destination should you desire.

Wines: As all our tours, winery visits with tastings are included. Regional wines are included with lunches and dinners.
